Our Difference
My name is Cathy Keenan, I’m a counsellor and mentor.
Our company is called Autistic Counselling as I am neurodivergent.
People have found my unique approach to providing support helpful whether they are neurodivergent or not.
Although I specialise in working with neurodiverse people, I have provided counselling and mentoring wherever you are on our glorious universe of difference since 2012.
If you want to know more about me, see my About page.

My Services

Welcome to Autistic Counselling
Sometimes life can be challenging. You might find it helpful to speak to someone about the difficulties you are experiencing, or to have someone who is non-judgemental hear what you want to say.
Finding a confidential, safe space to talk can help to ease the tension: another person can sometimes support you to recognise and manage difficult emotions, work out how you feel about a situation, decide about finding or keeping a relationship, discover your purpose, or simply resolving a way through a problem to a solution.
Together, we may be able to find more clarity.

What can I help with?
Areas of life where you might want support include:
Anxiety or worrying; difficulty identifying, understanding or expressing feelings; relationships; work or career; education and study; conflict or communication; bereavement or losses; dealing with a challenge; making changes or decisions; understanding divergence or thinking about diagnosis; understanding past events or trauma; building a life and finding purpose; how to ‘be’.
There are many more things that people can
become concerned about, both in the short term and over time.
If you feel it is time to work on the area that you want to think about, get in touch to start planning.
