What services do I provide?

Counselling

I tailor my approach to your needs and draw on a range of disciplines.  Qualified to work both online and in person, I am happy to discuss your preferences. If you like to bring lists, photos, pictures, journals or other ways to aid discussions we can do that.  I’m also happy to work with an interpreter present.
You may choose to work with me to tackle a single issue, such as social anxiety, have a goal such as addressing the past and how it impacts your current outlook, or perhaps want somewhere to ‘check in’ and talk about how things are going.
I believe counselling can be an intriguing and enjoyable process, although at times it can be challenging to think about difficult topics.  Hopefully we can get you to where you want to go.
Cost: My current fee is £60.00 per hour. 
If you believe you will have difficulty paying fees, please let me know as there are a small number of subsidised spaces.

Specialist Mentoring

I provide one to one mentoring and coaching for students in further and higher education: This includes work with adults who are neurodiverse, have physical or mental health issues, and those with more than one challenge.
I can assist you to manage your wellbeing while you study, helping you to find strategies and ways to navigate your course. This can include help with concentration, procrastination, assignments, giving presentations, exams, getting on with other students, managing while being away from home, working with tutors or course problems, connecting to the community.
Please note, you may be eligible for help with funding from the government for this type of support. If you believe you are eligible for government funding and want to work with me please contact me to enquire.

Work Support

We spend a great deal of time and energy getting the work or career that we want.  Once we have this, we then spend a significant portion of our waking lives in this role.  When there is a challenge in this area of our life, it can affect other aspects of our day, and impact other hopes and plans.
I provide a relaxed, person-centred approach aimed at identifying and resolving challenges and use counselling and mentoring strategies to support you.
There is basic support from the government with this, through DWP, free and easily found. 
I have worked with large organisations to provide DWP work coaching support.
Charges: My fee is £60.00 per hour
