Let’s take a breath, sigh out all that worry and think about self care for a moment.
Previous posts have looked at various ways to manage academic tasks, just take a look and share anything you think will be useful.
Rule 1/ This is not a competition, you can help your friends and your friends can help you. It’s not that type of race. In fact, the more we all co-operate, the more happy hormones get released, so smile and have another breath, it’s on the house.
You may well be near, or even mid, resit land right now. You know rules 2 – 9 about sleep, self care, prep for exams etc. so I will not bother with them.
Rule 10/ Remember that when you did not get through last time, have a quick squizz at your mark. If the pass mark was 40% and you got 20% well, you only have to pull another 20% out of the bag this time. If you got 30% you only have to raise your game by another 10%. You already know most of what you need. Aaaah, that’s better.
Rule 11/ Follow rules 2 – 9 and do not skip them. Did you know, other people have done the research so you don’t have to? Maybe even got a PhD for some of it. Here’s some new research for those who think aromatherapy is a bit touchy-feely:
Self care is so important, whatever that means to you. Whether it’s lavender oil, skateboarding, or watching a movie. Take some time to have a rest and you’ll get into those resits like an olympic gold athlete.
Good luck, everyone.
